Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Mortgage Delivery Consultant. This position is responsible for cultivating working relationships with both internal & external Members, Team Members, and the Communities that we serve to provide residential mortgage expertise and knowledge. This position will take applications, collect associated documentation, and look for opportunities to refer other products and services that might fill Member's needs.

Through the Member interview process, the Mortgage Loan Consultant will determine their needs, then offer solutions to best assist. A primary focus for this position is to build relationships with Team Members, Realtors, Builders, and other points of contact within our Community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Attains personal mortgage production goal each month.
• Develops relationships to become a trusted advisor with Team Members, Realtors, and Builders.
• Conducts meetings with Members using methods they prefer including in person, phone, or invitation to Centra's on-line application. Responds to Members inquiries timely striving for same day resolution.
• Communicates with all parties including Members, Team Members, and Realtors, to set expectations and keep all parties informed throughout the loan life cycle.
• Delivers all income and asset documents in a timely manner to avoid delay.
• Maintains understanding in the overall process and seek out appropriate education on subject matter, and stay current on all processes, procedures, products, and compliance items.
• Participates in local Community Business Network International Relator & Building meeting and events to create and maintain partnerships. Attends and participates in all Credit Union meetings.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)

• Associate's Degree in Related Field
• A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

Education:

Preferred 1-3 years related experience or better. Associates or better. Equivalent combination education & experience or better.
