We are currently hiring for all shifts: 1st shift (7:00am to 3:30pm), 2nd shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm), 3rd shift (11:00pm to 7:30am)
Position Summary
The CNC Operator ensures machines are producing high-quality products efficiently and within established standards. This role operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, boring machines, CNC equipment, and grinders according to company work instructions and blueprints. Successful candidates are reliable, disciplined, and problem-solvers who take pride in producing quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety
- Work in a safe manner, following all plant safety policies.
- Train others on safe practices and highlight equipment hazards.
- Production
- Set up and operate CNC machines and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and process sheets.
- Monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and reset automation systems (including robots and vision systems).
- Use gauges and measuring instruments to verify tolerances.
- Perform inspections, deburring, and manual operations as required.
- Conduct daily machine checks and perform minor adjustments.
- Quality
- Follow all quality policies and standards (CARs, PARs, NCRs, PM).
- Complete required documentation and inspections throughout production.
- Ensure all parts meet specifications before leaving the process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience as a CNC Operator preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
