JOB TITLE:

Runner

REPORTS TO:

Production Manager

SUMMARY The essential job function of a Runner is to ensure the lines have the component parts needed to keep the lines operating and to put away finished goods when a box is full and complete.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInbound Runners:
Supply parts to lines as needed, using pallet jack. Remove empty cartons from lines as needed. Take completed parts to staging area for forklift to take to dock.

Outbound Runners:
Supply empty cartons to lines and remove completed cartons to staging area for forklift to take to dock. Will construct cartons, lids and inserts as needed for production.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and procedures.

Ability to follow instructions.

Ability to perform repetitive duties.

Preferred:

Experience in manufacturing operations.
