Job Summary

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
  • Report any work‑related injury, illness, incident or hazard.
  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Promote interdependence by looking out for one another.
  • Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.
  • Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact.
  • Engage in HSE Training.
  • Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka‑yoke and visual standards.
  • Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
  • Perform quality inspections and identify and control non‑conforming material.
  • Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product to meet customer expectations.
  • Demonstrate a high level of competency in core work skills and achieve production goals.
  • Work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks, and perform planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
  • Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.
  • Work with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.
  • Communicate effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
  • Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements.
  • Participate actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of standard work practices, process documentation, and quality procedures to support consistent and compliant operations.
  • Leverage prior experience with remanufactured parts, where applicable, to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
  • Tig welding experience and/or weld inspection to ensure quality standards are met within the process.
  • Operate manufacturing and assembly equipment independently to ensure products consistently meet defined specifications and quality standards.
  • Adapt effectively to evolving production demands, contributing to additional tasks and priorities to support achievement of production targets.
  • C shift is Mon & Tues 5p-5a Friday & Sat. 5a-5p.
