The selected candidate must be willing and able to work a rotating shift schedule consisting of:

  • First 6 months: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
  • Following 6 months: Monday–Friday, Night Shift

Candidates who are unable to support this rotating day/night schedule will not be considered for the position.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading end-to-end manufacturing process development and supporting new product launch activities while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and business objectives. This role applies advanced manufacturing engineering principles to optimize production processes, improve equipment performance, and drive operational excellence.

The successful candidate will serve as a technical leader, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop scalable manufacturing solutions, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and support the successful launch and production of new products. This position requires strong collaboration skills, hands‑on manufacturing expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Process Development
  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing process development for assigned programs and projects
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes that support safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives
  • Establish standardized manufacturing methods, work instructions, and best practices
  • Evaluate and optimize equipment performance to support efficient and scalable production operations
  • Support manufacturing readiness activities for new product introductions and launch programs
Launch & Production Support
  • Support Vehicle/Product Introduction (VPI) and launch activities
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing challenges during prototype, pilot, and production phases
  • Coordinate manufacturing resources to support project timelines and production requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure successful implementation of manufacturing processes
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives utilizing established manufacturing systems, tools, and methodologies
  • Drive waste reduction, productivity improvements, quality enhancements, and cost savings
  • Utilize structured problem‑solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Leverage data‑driven decision making to improve manufacturing performance
Equipment & Tooling Optimization
  • Support equipment selection, implementation, and optimization activities
  • Develop and improve tooling, fixtures, and workstation layouts
  • Apply ergonomic principles to improve operator safety and productivity
  • Evaluate manufacturing technologies and recommend process improvements
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
  • Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for manufacturing processes
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing to team members and stakeholders
  • Build strong working relationships with internal departments and external partners
  • Influence project decisions and drive alignment across cross‑functional teams
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within scope
Required Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's degree in:
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Or a related technical discipline
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience supporting manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience supporting new product introduction or launch activities in a manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
  • Experience with Fanuc Handling Tool or Fanuc Arc Tool
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience developing manufacturing processes, tooling, and production methods
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems, equipment, and process optimization techniques
  • Experience with structured problem‑solving methodologies and root cause analysis
