Job Overview

The Production Associate is responsible for assembling, packaging, and inspecting products in accordance with batch records and manufacturing specifications. This role supports smooth production operations by preparing components, operating equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met throughout the packaging process.

Responsibilities
  • Read Batch Record and follow instructions throughout manufacturing process
  • Pull components to the manufacturing line and prepare for production run when asked
  • Ensure components match what is required by the batch record (item number/name matches)
  • Ensure components are released for use (green tagged) and identification follows components throughout line usage including return to warehouse after use
  • Call line leader/supervisor to ensure proper documentation of component usage
  • Follow batch record assemble final pack out of product to specifications
  • Communicate issues with line leader or maintenance to ensure equipment is running smoothly
  • Appropriate documentation of line down time, scrap and output as requested by line lead
  • Operate pallet jacks
  • Inspect products to ensure it meets specification including proper palletization
  • Line clearance including hand off of finished product to warehouse, appropriately signed
  • Cleaning of packaging equipment and packaging area
  • Proper PPE, cleanliness and documentation of all activities as trained
  • Other tasks as assigned and trained
