CNC Machine Operator
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision metal and plastic components, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their dedicated team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location:
Columbus, IN
Pay Range: $20 per hour + (Depending on experience)
Shift: 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) / 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:30am) + Overtime
What's the Job?
- Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes and mills to produce high-precision components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Monitor machine operations, make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify specifications.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Mechanical aptitude with keen attention to detail and safety protocols.
