The Role

We're seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Production Control Planner
- Scheduling who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys solving problems while supporting stable production operations.

In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining daily production schedules that support customer delivery requirements while balancing manufacturing capacity and production flow. You'll work closely with Manufacturing, Production Planning, Parts Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure schedules are accurate, achievable, and responsive to changing business needs.

The Scheduling function serves as a critical link between Production Planning and Manufacturing Operations by translating production requirements into executable schedules while maintaining appropriate work-in-process (WIP) levels throughout the factory. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

What You’ll Be Doing

Production Scheduling & Operational Support

  • Create and maintain daily production schedules that support customer demand while following production leveling (Heijunka) principles.
  • Monitor schedule execution and adjust production schedules as needed to respond to changing priorities, material availability, or manufacturing constraints.
  • Maintain appropriate factory work-in-process (WIP) levels to support stable production flow.
  • Process production schedule changes and ensure system accuracy while communicating updates to affected departments.
  • Monitor production performance and identify schedule deviations or abnormalities requiring corrective action.
  • Coordinate offline unit recovery activities to minimize aging inventory and protect customer delivery performance.
  • Support KD shipping schedules, service parts production, and aftermarket modification scheduling to meet customer requirements.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Investigate production scheduling issues using structured problem-solving techniques, including 5-Why analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve schedule stability, production flow, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve scheduling processes using Toyota Production System (TPS) principles.
  • Escalate significant production issues while supporting recovery plans to minimize operational disruption.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with Production Control, Production Scheduling, or related functions preferred
  • Working knowledge of production leveling (Heijunka), Just-In-Time production flow, and Toyota Production System (TPS) principles preferred
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Strong desire to solve problems and continuously learn
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and sound judgment

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
