General Labor Forklift Operator:
Operates forklifts, moves materials, loads/unloads products, and supports yard operations.

General Labor/ Forklift Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 20.50 to $ 21.50 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)

• Receive and unload delivered material
• Verify loads delivered match the receiving paperwork
• Visually inspect material to identify any possible defects and discrepancies
• Organize material in an efficient manner and have it ready for when job is ready for cutting
• Load material on rollers for structural beam line machinery personnel to cut material
• Assist with loading trucks for steel delivery when needed
• Overhead crane and forklift experience is a plus
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

General Labor/ Forklift

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for the entire shift of up to 10 hours.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work safely around heavy industrial equipment and steel materials.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, painting, or a heavy industrial environment preferred.
• Experience with overhead cranes preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift experience.
