Family Nurse Practitioner
Needed for a contract opportunity with our primary care clinic located in Columbus, IN
. This clinic sees patients ages 2+ and provides well‑woman exams and small procedures.
M, Tu, F 7a-6p and W 8a-7p. Sat rotation every 4-6 weeks 8a-12p.
Duration7/31-8/31 with possible extension or direct placement.
Pay$65-73/hr DOE.
What You’ll Be Doing- Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of the physician.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health‑care needs.
- Record physical findings and formulate plan and prognosis based on the patient’s condition. Provide written home‑going instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient‑care plans as necessary.
- Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
- Refer patients to physicians for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
- Maintain medical records using (and understand use of) electronic medical record software.
- All NP licenses and education to practice.
- Current BLS certification.
