Job Summary and Primary Objectives:

Assists with QE with internal quality and scrap reduction tasks. Achieve company objectives related to quality. Continuously improve Quality related policies, procedures, programs, and activities within department.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Daily review of internal quality issues.

Daily review of die breaks in Cold Forge and Thread Rolling.

Coordinate internal sorts related to broken dies.

Calculate and investigate high volume scrap items.

Assist in daily quality outflow reporting and meeting.

Issue internal quality Corrective Action Reports (CAR’s).Assist with review of internal CAR’s for approval/closure.

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent computer skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Good aptitude for math.

Good analytical skills and detail oriented.

Highly motivated work ethic and positive attitude.

Ability to inspect product using in-house equipment (calipers, hardness testers, etc.) preferred.

Education and Experience:

Associate degree or equivalent experience2+ years experience in Quality and/or Production preferred.
