Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality CMM Technician to join their team. As a Quality CMM Technician, you will be an integral part of the quality assurance department supporting inspection and calibration activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality CMM Technician
Location: COLUMBUS, IN
Pay Range: $24 per hour + (depending on experience)
Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday + Overtime
What's the Job?
- Operate and troubleshoot Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) to perform precise inspections of complex powder metal parts.
- Select, load, and initiate programs on CMM systems, ensuring accurate measurements and certifications.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment, including daily maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Support quality inspections across all areas, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Create rejection notices for non-conforming products and support Material Review Board (MRB) activities for proper disposition of non-conforming materials.
What's Needed?
- Experience working in a quality lab environment utilizing various measurement devices.
- Proficiency with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), including programming and operation.
- Knowledge of measurement tools, calibration procedures, and quality assurance standards.
- Ability to maintain detailed records of inspections and support audit processes.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
