Quality Technician Details:
- Direct hire position
- $ 20.00 to $ 21.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and quality inspection processes.
- CMM Operation (Manual and DCC machines, CMM Manager software).
- Quality inspection checks 1st piece, hourly, final, last piece, backward recall on non-conforming product and implementing non-conforming product hold tags.
- Gauge Calibration/ Gage R&R
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Support day-to-day quality and production deliverables and initiatives. Lead teams to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Document testing and root cause analysis for internal or external problems.
- Create work instructions provide feedback and review Manufacturing issues that emerge through the work and assembly process with QM/ME on the solutions to address the issue.
- Follow quality standards to ensure parts are to the customer and company standards.
- Work pieces on CMM machine using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
Quality Technician
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- Knowledge of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
- Participate in continued education courses as required for new projects and career growth within XL (TQM/CQT/CQE)
- Knowledge of CMM software, ability to Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, and fixtures
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
