The Quality & Compliance Coordinator supports the quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of Cosco Home & Office products and manufacturing facilities. This role helps ensure that products and operations meet company standards, applicable regulatory requirements, and recognized industry best practices.
The Quality & Compliance Coordinator supports product quality and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle. This role reviews technical documentation, coordinates testing and corrective actions, monitors regulatory changes, and collaborates with global teams, retailers, and third-party laboratories to identify and resolve compliance concerns.
This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities- Reviews drawings, graphics, regulations, and product development documents
- Reviews and approves PD, EC, and CAR actions
- Engages in troubleshooting and correction of problems, reporting unresolved issues to Quality Assurance Director and Senior Management.
- May assist in new product development testing, writing quality requirements, developing worldwide test standards, qualification, and production start.
- Works with international Dorel teams to ensure worldwide product compliance in testing, inspection, audits, and 3rd party lab regulatory compliance programs.
- Assists in Retailer program compliance and communication.
- Monitor and stay informed on changes to laws, regulations, industry standards, and compliance trends that impact the organization.
- Identifies and documents areas of non-compliance, providing actional recommendations for improvement.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree of a technical nature
- Or Vocational Schooling of a technical nature
- ASQ Quality Engineering Certification preferred
- Prefer 2 Years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance practices
- Strong knowledge of Quality Engineering practices
- Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities
- Strong creative, analytic and organization skills
- Those typical of standard office conditions.
- Position requires frequent use of vision, hearing, and speaking abilities.
- Light lifting in a lab environment may be occasionally required.
- Must be able to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to develop and perform product testing in a lab environment
- Must be competent in general computer usage, Microsoft Office, calculator, telephone, scanners, printers, and video conferencing equipment
