Pay Rate:$25–$30/hour
Schedule:Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced Formulations Chemistto join our Research & Development team. This role focuses heavily onformulation development, method validation, product testing, and plant trials. The ideal candidate has strong formulation experience, is knowledgeable in developing, writing, and executing method validation protocols, and thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, innovative, self-motivated, and possess a strong“can-do” attitude with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and formulate new products, converting concepts into physical products.
- Prepare laboratory solutions and conduct routine testing of products under development.
- Develop, write, and executeanalytical method validation studies.
- Conduct plant, batching, and filling line trials.
- Assist with the development and implementation of cleaning procedures.
- Perform chromatography and other laboratory testing as needed.
- Clean and maintain R&D and production equipment following R&D use.
- Assist with formulation and cleaning of commercial pharmaceutical equipment.
- Coordinate and submit test samples to external laboratories.
- Compile and analyze R&D data, results, and observations.
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and documentation.
- Follow
GMP/cGMP requirements
and established laboratory procedures. - Perform other R&D duties as needed.
- 3–5+ years of experience
in an R&D or chemical laboratory environment. - Experience writing and executing
method validation
studies. - Experience with chromatography and laboratory testing.
- Experience working with chemical products, preferably in a
manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
. - Knowledge of GMP/cGMP regulations strongly preferred.
- Experience with commercial pharmaceutical equipment and cleaning procedures is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
