Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Columbus, IN 47201

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills while establishing retailer relationships and being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.

Salary and Schedule

• Your starting hourly rate is $14.50 - $16.50, depending on skills and experience.
• Paid training is provided—live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom.
• Part‑time employees may select voluntary benefits, including medical, dental, vision, etc.
• Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

• This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours are between 11–16 hours.
• Availability before and after major holidays—including weekends—is required.
• Additional availability is required to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Using a mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products in the Hallmark department and elsewhere. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys.
• Holiday support:
  Provide additional service during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, sometimes on the actual holiday and/or weekends.
• Department resets:
  Participate in installation and remodeling assignments (two weeks notice). May include evenings or weekends.
• Team support:
  Often support other merchandisers in the field organization as needed.

Physical Requirements

This job requires physical activity: push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 lbs routinely and 50 lbs occasionally; kneel, squat, walk, and stand; climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Operate a digital handheld device.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to and between assigned stores.
