We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Move & Installation Technician to support office furniture installation, relocation, and reconfiguration projects on a corporate campus. This role is part of a skilled team responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality workspace solutions while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Disassemble, move, and reassemble office furniture, cubicles, and workstations according to floor plans
- Safely transport furniture and equipment across campus locations
- Load, secure, and pad-wrap product for transport
- Use hand and power tools for installation and assembly tasks
- Review work orders and understand job scope prior to starting assignments
- Assist with route planning and communicate timelines to team/customers
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure installation of furniture systems
- Maintain clean, organized trucks and work areas
- Perform job site cleanup and assist with project close‑out
- Inspect furniture and report damages or issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and report incidents immediately
- Provide professional, customer-focused service at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- 1–2+ years of furniture moving or systems furniture installation experience preferred
- Experience with Steelcase or similar systems furniture is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Must pass a background check (mandatory)
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Basic computer skills;
Microsoft Office familiarity is a plus - Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional attitude and team‑oriented mindset
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (team lift as needed)
- Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and standing
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment
- Comfortable working in varying indoor/outdoor conditions
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on project needs
- Competitive hourly pay: $20–$25/hour
