Electrical Technician

Come help be responsible for hands-on electrical troubleshooting, repair, and technical support for manufacturing production equipment.

Electrical Technician Details:

  • Direct hire position
  • $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 / annually
  • First shift
  • Perform hands-on electrical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on manufacturing equipment up to 480V
  • Install, modify, and maintain control systems including panels, motors, VFDs, sensors, and safety circuits
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to diagnose issues
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce downtime
  • Support production operations by resolving electrical and control-related issues while ensuring compliance with safety standards (LOTO, PPE)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, maintenance, QA, and engineering teams while documenting work, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and assisting with upgrades and commissioning

Electrical Technician

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, VFDs, control panels, and safety circuits
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and preventing recurring issues
  • Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, including I/O verification, basic ladder logic, and minor programming adjustments (preferred)
  • Experience supporting equipment improvements, automation projects, commissioning, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers or OEMs (preferred)
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to document issues, train/mentor technicians, and share technical knowledge across teams
