Looking for an individual that can perform machine assembly, maintenance, and repair on both our internal machinery and our product for our customers. Some knowledge of rotary tables and pallet systems is a plus. We build new and service these products daily.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and maintain optimal machine performance - Troubleshooting:
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using observation, testing, and diagnostic tools, and implement effective solutions - Installation and Calibration:
Assemble, install, and calibrate new machinery, ensuring proper integration into customer’s production lines - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, parts used, and time spent to comply with operational and safety standards - Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers, production teams, and operators to plan upgrades, improve machine efficiency, and provide technical support - Training:
Educate machine operators on proper use, safety procedures, and efficient operation techniques
Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of mechanics, electronics, and electrical systems, with the ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints - Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions to reduce downtime - Tools and Equipment:
Proficiency with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, machining tools, and diagnostic equipment - Communication:
Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and reporting - Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; post-secondary certificates or an associate degree in mechanical, industrial, or electronics technology is a plus. - Experience:
Previous experience in machine maintenance, repair, or a similar technical role is highly advantageous. - Safety:
Safety protocols are critical, and technicians must adhere to guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain operational efficiency.
We are located in Columbus, Indiana. Our standard work week is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We offer a competitive pay and benefits.
