Position Overview

The Project Executive will provide executive leadership for one or more major construction projects while partnering closely with Operations, Preconstruction, Project Management, and executive leadership to ensure successful project delivery.

This role is responsible for overseeing project performance, financial results, staffing strategies, client relationships, risk management, and operational execution from preconstruction through final closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive oversight for one major project or a portfolio of concurrent commercial construction projects.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, contingency planning, procurement strategies, staffing, and overall project performance.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
  • Collaborate with Preconstruction, Estimating, and Operations to support budgeting, procurement, value engineering, and change management.
  • Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedule, quality, and financial performance.
  • Lead executive-level client meetings while maintaining strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, lenders, and trade partners.
  • Oversee contract administration, forecasting, financial reporting, and project profitability.
  • Drive operational consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across assigned projects.
  • Support company growth initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of project execution.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience managing large commercial construction projects, including significant leadership experience as a Project Executive, Operations Manager, Senior Project Manager, or similar executive-level role.
  • Proven experience overseeing complex vertical construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Experience managing multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial, healthcare, student housing, condominium, or other large-scale vertical construction projects.
  • Strong financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, contingency management, and project profitability.
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple project teams while mentoring construction professionals.
  • Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction contracts, procurement strategies, and risk management.
  • Florida construction experience is strongly preferred.
