Apex Ammunition is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our finance team. This position is responsible for managing customer invoicing, processing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
  • Process incoming payments via check, ACH, wire transfer, and credit card.
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue balances.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account information.
  • Prepare aging reports and assist with collections efforts.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and operations teams to resolve billing issues.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
  • Support other accounting and administrative functions as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks Online.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-based businesses is a plus.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
