Job Description Summary
Performs exhibition, publicity, and collections management duties for The W Galleries.
Responsibilities- Responsible for receiving artwork, documenting receipt of artwork, exhibition layout, hanging artwork, gallery labels, lighting, overseeing the student worker, photo documentation of exhibitions, de-installation, and exhibition pick‑up, or shipping, or return delivery.
- Requires less than or equal to one year experience with preference given to candidates in the following:
- Degree in visual arts
- Experience with gallery exhibitions
- Familiarity with the Adobe Suite, especially Illustrator and Photo Shop
- Ability to read a tape measure and calculate with measurements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
