Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences & Disorders
Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences & Disorders – Office of Technology Commercialization, University of Mississippi.
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) in the School of Applied Sciences at The University of Mississippi invites applications for a 9‑month tenure‑track Assistant Professor position to start in August 2026. Candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following areas: child or adolescent, language, literacy, developmental disabilities, speech sound disorders, phonology, or complex communication. All areas of specialization are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will develop and sustain a line of research that contributes to scientific advancement in their area of expertise, actively pursue external funding for research, teach undergraduate and graduate courses (face‑to‑face, online, and/or blended), direct student research, and engage in departmental, college, university, and professional service.

An earned doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in communication sciences and disorders or a closely related field by the appointment start date. - Certificate:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP). - Licensure:
