- Full time; 8.5 hour/day - approximately 159 days per year

QUALIFICATIONSRequired
- Current MN teaching license or ability to obtain one.
- Provide weekly special education service for students
- Collaborate with other special education providers such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech/language pathologists
- Coach families on best practice strategies
- Demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy
- Demonstrate knowledge of students
- Select instructional goals
- Demonstrate knowledge of resources
- Design and deliver coherent instruction
- Assess student learning
- Create an environment of respect and rapport
- Establish a culture for learning
- Manage classroom procedures
- Manage student behavior
- Organize physical space
- Communicate clearly and accurately
- Use questioning and discussion techniques
- Engage students in learning
- Provide feedback to students
- Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness
