Execute detailed inspections across aircraft systems, including dimensional checks, hidden damage assessments, and functional testing. - Material Excellence:

Location:
Eastern border of Mississippi, Columbus, MS, home to Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and North America Center of Excellence.
Inspection: 60%
- Perform required technical inspections to receive or reject incoming material, airframes, aircraft components and to detect/report suspected unapproved parts.
- Perform in-process inspections for components in electrical backshops, manufacturing, composites, MRO and paint shop to judge serviceability or rejection of manufactured parts and electrical components.
- Inspect aluminium, titanium or steel structures for cracks, corrosion, damage and improper assembly; determine shimming and joining with rivets or other hardware per drawings/approved data.
- Detect hidden damage during inspections of airframe structures and components; verify wiring harnesses, connectors and terminations per design drawings.
- Quarantine non-conforming components and assemblies; monitor measuring and test equipment calibration.
- Perform stock inspections and purges for possible non-conforming/unapproved material; evaluate and disposition sales returns.
- Sample products and verify conformity to drawings and manuals; perform in-process and final quality inspections for conformity during maintenance, repair, modification, rework and overhaul.
- Perform conformity inspections for STC development projects, PMA parts, and electrical components; inspect multiple airframe components for fit, form and function.
- Validate disposition of parts or repaired parts routed to shop floor, warehouse, internal shops and suppliers for conformity.
- Qualify dynamic component parts using visual inspection and precision measurement; observe and validate instrument connections and tests to meet specifications.
- Ensure compliance with calendar/hourly inspections, life/cycle-limited components, airworthiness directives and alert service bulletins; verify testing for ELT, transponders, altimeters and related systems per applicable regulations.
Documentation: 30%
- Ensure proper tagging, identification and airworthiness of parts released to Airframe, Engines, and Accessories.
- Compare quantity, part number and serial number of items received with procurement data; create, distribute, track in SAP and disposition shelf life reports.
- Createquality documentation for non-conformances (QN/NCs) and coordinate resolutions with Quality Engineers.
- Ensure all materials have required documentation (e.g., 8130-3, EASA Form, Certificate of Conformance).
- Process Goods Receipts during material receipt; document maintenance actions for airframe, engine, accessories and components per FAA/EASA regulations.
- Research airworthiness directives, service bulletins and alert service bulletins for applicability; read and validate engineering drawings, reports and test specifications.
