Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Technician A - to join our Flight line team based in Columbus, MS.
You will be part of the team to perform basic assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems in the manufacture, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components.

Your working environment:
On the eastern border of Mississippi you’ll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It’s here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

Your challenges:
- Perform basic assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components
- Assist in the operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
- Assist in the troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.
- Assure that completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
- Participate in flight tests on aircraft and log work to be performed, as required.
- Minimum Four (4) years or more aviation maintenance experience
- Current FAA A&P license highly desirable.
- Flight line and helicopter experience preferred.
- Safran Turbomeca engine experience preferred.
Physical Requirements :
- Onsite or remote: 95% Onsite
- Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. 100%
- Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. 100%
- Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. 100%
- Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such…
