Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Tech B (Avionics Installer) to join our H145 Final Assembly Line team based in Columbus, MS. You will perform avionics and electrical installations and checkouts on assigned aircraft or parts and subassemblies, route and terminate aircraft harnesses, and perform safety checks prior to power application.

On the eastern border of Mississippi you’ll find Columbus, home to our helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and the Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. We produce the UH‑72A Lakota helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H‑125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years related experience in electrical installation (industrial, automotive, or telecommunications)

US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder, or person covered under our existing ITAR license).

Physical requirements include 95% onsite presence, good vision, hearing, and speaking abilities, ability to operate equipment and tools, carry up to 30 pounds, lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull small office furniture, sit for long periods, squat/kneel, stand, travel independently, walk on uneven surfaces, and comply with personal protective equipment requirements.
