Material Handling Intern Fall

Requisition Summary

The Materials Intern will help identify, analyze, suggest, review and document the requirements of a project throughout its lifecycle. The Intern will support on‑time completion of the project by working with the project team to keep the project within its planned scope, schedule and budget, while serving as a liaison for the project's technical, functional, and non‑functional teams.

The intern projects will include work with Engine Demand Planning, Production Scheduling, Shipping/Customer Service, Material Procurement, Change Management, Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, Material Delivery and Logistics, and/or Transportation. Daily responsibilities may also include additional tasks or responsibilities to meet production and/or project deadlines.

• Create, manage, and disburse reports related to the project.
• Maintain project assets, communications and related data.
• Evaluate, update and monitor the overall project.
• Routinely perform analysis of the project to remain within scope.
• Notify the team and stakeholders of project status and any deviations in a timely manner.

Currently enrolled in a BS/BA or MS program with a focus in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Science/Analytics, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum qualifications include completion of sophomore year leading to a Bachelor's degree.

Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Demonstrated problem‑solving/critical‑thinking skills.

Demonstrated organizational/communication skills.

Experience working on projects or in a team environment.

Supply Chain knowledge/experience is a plus.

Experience with SAP/MRP, Excel VBA, MS SQL, Tableau is a plus.
