Job Functions / Responsibilities- Develops overall material handling strategies and flow
- Develops and maintains plan for every part (PFEP)
- Coordinates outsourced packaging engineering activities
- Supports system design and testing
- Provides support to materials high performance work teams
- Manages the integration of new engine platform material flow into running business operations
- Manages department capital budget
- Bachelor's degree required. Materials analytical or logistics related
- Manufacturing engineering experience required
- Understanding of set-up and management of just in-time and just in-sequence inventory practices required
- Strong demonstrated knowledge of Six-Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement concepts required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products specially Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point
- Six-Sigma training certification preferred
- Advanced degree preferred
