Columbus Brick, a division of General Shale Brick, Inc., is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for our facility in Columbus, MS. Successful candidate will manage the departmental operations within a highly automated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Operate front end loader and dozer to load and feed hoppers in a concrete-floored building.
- Maintain the most consistent mix of material fed to the hoppers by turning over clay piles to mix material on the floor before loading to hoppers.
- Ensure two side-by-side hoppers feeding two different brick plants remain full at all times.
- Load material into hoppers and manage loading operations on a daily basis.
- Keep the inside of the building and around the feed hoppers clean on a weekly basis.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
