Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Electrical Installer to join our H145 Final Assembly Line team. The role involves building, repairing, and replacing aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacture, maintenance, or refurbishing of aircraft, and performing functional checks to verify proper operation.
Responsibilities- Apply basic techniques and procedures of electrical installation.
- Read and follow detailed plans, diagrams, and standards for fabrication of wire harnesses and components.
- Lay‑in route wires on form board, tie, lace, and apply appropriate anti‑chaff protection.
- Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains, and electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and diodes.
- Perform soldering of connectors, contacts, and components.
- Complete required documentation and forms for work completion.
- Minimum of four (4) years aircraft electrical or related experience.
- Avionics and cabling class (e.g., equivalent to courses offered by East Mississippi Community College) is desirable.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Familiarity with common aviation type‑tooling.
- US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. citizen, green card holder, or other covered individual).
- Vision: 95% vision, able to read computer screen and engineering drawings.
- Hearing: able to participate in conversations and hear floor alarms.
- Speaking: able to communicate effectively in meetings.
- Equipment operation, carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing as described in detail.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves).
