Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Technician A
- Flight line to join our Flight Line team based in Columbus, MS.You will be part of the team to perform basic assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems in the manufacture, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. Assist with operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems. Assist in the diagnosis of malfunctions or failures and make adjustments, repairs or replacements of parts or components.

Your working environment:
On the eastern border of Mississippi you’ll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It’s here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

Your challenges:
Aircraft Build-up/Texting System Troubleshooting Compliance Your boarding pass:
H/S diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Four (4) years or more aviation maintenance experience
10% Domestic and International travel
Background in aviation maintenance
Citizenship:
US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
Physical Requirements:
Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Daily Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 60lbs/27kgs. Daily Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Daily Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Weekly Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
Daily Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Daily Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. As needed as required.
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Daily Personal Protective Equipment required:
Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or…
