Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit Work Orders, Material Certs, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) for completeness and accuracy prior to customer shipment and digitize.
  • Manager, organize, and control QMS documentation including manuals, procedures, work instructions and specifications.
  • Verify compliance with AS9100, ISO standards, FAA requirements, ITAR regulations, and customer quality requirements as applicable.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by organizing evidence, compiling data, tracking findings to closure, and ensuring auditor readiness.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, supply Chain, and Program Management to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and quality system enhancements.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and promote a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree required in Business Administration, Quality Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of administrative experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or quality environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and product acceptance criteria.
  • Strong understanding of AS9100 and/or ISO
    9001 standards and aerospace manufacturing environments required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and production environment.
  • Visual acuity required for detailed inspection work.
