Senior Sales Representative – North MS (Southern Division, AL SMA operations) reporting to the AL SMA Aggregates Sales Manager. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership in safety, quality and revenue generation throughout existing operations and support growth into additional markets.

Job Responsibilities
  • Increase revenue and margins through disciplined market management.
  • Maintain favorable and effective relationships with current customers.
  • Identify and prospect new customers and capture information in Salesforce.
  • Resolve customer complaints favorably as necessary.
  • Analyze market trends and develop action plans to capitalize on shifts in market.
  • Develop and execute specific strategies to obtain new business.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure product quality and availability.
  • Assist in overseeing the sales process from pricing, to preparing contracts, forecasting, and credit and collections.
  • Assess sales functions and potential on prospective acquisitions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience and success in a sales environment.
  • Sales experience in the aggregates, asphalt, construction, or related industry strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the marketing area is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or experience-based discipline required;
    Business or Construction Management preferred.
  • Proven sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Capable of demonstrating knowledge of products, market conditions, and competitors.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills required.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Occasional overnight travel required.
