Outside Sales Representative-General Tool

Job Description Summary

Outside Sales Representative – responsible for generating profitable business from the range of equipment within a profit center, developing territory, implementing sales plans, and maintaining current customer base.

• Generate profitable business and expand existing portfolio within a high-demand market.
• Develop and implement sales plans to grow business and maintain current customer base.
• Build the national Sunbelt branding identity.
• Use strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.
• Communicate and negotiate effectively with customers.
• Maintain accurate records using company computer systems.

• 4-year college degree in related field with at least 1 year of related experience OR 3-4 years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) may be preferred in some locations.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, working indoors/outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range: $40,000 - $50,000 (plus commission, company vehicle). Starting rate varies by location, education, training, and experience.
