Columbus Brick, a division of General Shale Brick, is seeking and Industrial Electrical Technician for our manufacturing facility in Columbus, MS. This position is hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include:
- Working with predominantly Siemens equipment including S7 & TIA Portal
- Maintaining/troubleshooting plant electrical systems and automated equipment
- Modifying/updating software and equipment as needed
Applicants should possess and demonstrate a working knowledge of:
- Variable Frequency Drives
- HMI’s
- Programmable Logic Controllers – predominantly Siemens S7 & TIA Portal
- An Associate’s Degree in electrical or related field with experience in an industrial electrical environment
- 5 years’ experience preferred
- Must be willing to work after hours and on an on-call rotation
