M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic T-6 Flight line to maintain and repair assigned aircraft, coordinate maintenance activities, and support flight operations.

• Perform maintenance and repair of assigned aircraft
• Coordinate maintenance activities with senior section personnel
• Accomplish inspections including preflight, thru flight, and BPO
• Service aircraft as required for flight
• Launch and recover aircraft as required
• Use schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical publications for operating, testing, and removing components
• Remove, inspect, and reinstall aircraft components such as flight control surfaces, throttle components, landing gear components, gear‑box assemblies, brake assemblies, and aircraft engines
• Rig flight controls, canopies, throttles, and landing gear
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operational checks of all aircraft systems
• Practice good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times
• Perform aircraft conditional inspections as required
• Operate ground support equipment and use hand tools, special tools, and fixtures for the assigned aircraft
• Perform all required aircraft servicing tasks
• Perform all tasks associated with ground movement of aircraft
• Annotate maintenance actions in aircraft records and be proficient in CAMS documentation
• May be required to acquire and maintain engine run certification
• May be required to be Red X certified
• May be required to be qualified on different MDS aircraft
• Promote company values, policies, and standards of conduct
• Maintain customer orientation and coordinate professionally with Operations and other base agencies
• Assist other personnel and work centers as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned, including TDY and travel
• Receive cross‑utilization training and be qualified to perform those maintenance tasks
• Work day shift, night shift, or weekend duty as required

• Working knowledge of jet aircraft systems and use of common hand tools and special tools
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance safety requirements and ability to operate portable fire‑fighting equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Ability to read and comprehend technical data
• Minimum 12 months experience as an aircraft mechanic or equivalent in an aircraft maintenance position
• Completion of a military or civilian aviation maintenance school and possession of a diploma or certificate of completion
• In lieu of formal training, minimum 18 months of experience in aviation maintenance as an aircraft worker or servicer with 6 months of BPO experience or certification; completion of Air Force 3 Level CDC Aircraft Mechanic Course or equivalent is desired
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line driver's license and may be required to obtain and maintain a class CDL
