What You'll Do:This position is a 12-month temporary employment opportunity with a possibility of extension.
- Process domestic orders and scale all inbound and outbound loads
- Prepare documentation for outgoing shipments
- Accurately and timely complete all order and shipment documentation
- Proactively communicate with facility personnel and drivers regarding delivery schedules and order statuses
- Respond to inquiries from customers, facility personnel, drivers, and management
- Partner with production personnel to coordinate production and shipments
- Review invoices from freight vendors
- Adhere to all Quality Standard Operating Procedures and processes
- Conduct QA inspections
- Record testing information and send samples out as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory analysis
- Perform daily calculations, compare lab results to expected values, and report variances to supervisor
- Report any quality, processing problems, and out-of-spec conditions to the QA supervisor
- Prepare spreadsheets analyzing data and alert supervisor of trends in data
- Scan, file, and keep records of all batch sheets and raw materials COAs
- Fill in for non-specialized tasks when shipping and QA/QC personnel are unavailable

- Other duties as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu of education
- 2+ years of office experience, customer service, domestic logistics, and/or scale operations preferred
- Working knowledge and skills in computer typing and Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook), including word processing, email etiquette, database entry, spreadsheet, and internet use
- Ability to use dispatching equipment, such as telephone (and accompanying headset) and PA systems
- Willingness to learn
