Automotive Technician

Overview

Kildare Repair is seeking an experienced A-Level / Master Technician to join our team. This position is designed for a seasoned professional with 5–8+ years of real-world automotive experience who can confidently handle advanced diagnostics and major mechanical repairs. This is not a lube tech or entry-level position. We are looking for a technician capable of performing the full scope of automotive repair and diagnosis at a high level, with compensation commensurate with experience.

We are specifically seeking technicians who excel in:

• Advanced electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Major mechanical repairs, including engine and drivetrain replacements
• Transmission, differential, suspension, and steering systems
• Accurate diagnosis using scan tools, testing procedures, and experience
• Completing repairs correctly the first time and verifying results

You should be comfortable diagnosing complex issues independently and supporting the shop as a senior-level technician.

• 5–8+ years of experience in the automotive field
• Proven A-Level or Master Technician skill set
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
• Works well in a team-based shop environment
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Takes pride in workmanship, efficiency, and reliability

• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends
• Flexible 1-hour lunch
