The

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Conduct and document daily inspection of work. Verifying that all work is in conformance with contract specification requirements. Verify that all safety rules and regulations are being adhered.

* Communicate and work with the Client's Quality Assurance staff.

* Communicate and work with the Project Support staff - QCM, SSHO, Superintendent, Site Coordinator.
Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

* Education Requirements:

High School or GED

* Level of Experience Requirements:

* 10+ years of demonstratable experience on levee projects for USEPA or USACE.

* 10+ years of demonstratable experience working on government projects.

* Has a current USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors

* Has demonstratable experience as the Quality Control Manager (or alternate) on USACE projects.

* Has completed a 30-hour OSHA Construction/General Industry Safety Course.

* Has completed a 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety Course.

* Has completed college level course work in construction management or civil/environmental engineering.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

* Experience in tracking quality control requirements in government projects.

* Experience as a supervisor (foreman, superintendent, etc.) or technical staff (field engineer, sampling technician, site coordinator, etc.) on civil projects.

* Basic level computer skills - MSWord, MS Excel, email.

* Ability to complete and file paperwork in an organized and legible form.

* Experience in RMS.
