Senior Engineer

We are currently hiring a Senior Engineer for either our Columbus, NE or Spencer, MA facility. This position follows a hybrid work model. The Senior MES Engineer is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing the production Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA). Design and/or evaluate related computer hardware and software; troubleshoots and/or problem solves all affiliated components.

• Engineering Analysis:
  Conduct engineering analysis, simulations, and modeling to evaluate and optimize designs, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Process Improvement:
  Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement in manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of designs, changes, and project progress, including engineering reports and project records.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with manufacturing, production, and maintenance teams to provide technical support and address engineering-related issues.
• Problem Solving:
  Investigate and resolve technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause analysis for manufacturing problems.
• Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Design production Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA). Write PLC code for event and data transfer to SCADA PC.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required with typically 5+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in AVEVA Wonderware, Microsoft Server Management Studio (SQL), and .Net a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple projects.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
