Process Engineer

Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE is hiring a Process Engineer to support product families and production areas.

Engineering responsibility for assigned product families and production areas, modification of existing products, research of new materials and/or vendors, processes, or methods, and cost savings projects. Project control requires working and coordinating with other departments to attain results.

• Independently perform complex engineering work and lead individual or grouped projects.
• Control design, testing and production responsibilities or research over several product types.
• Direct technicians in evaluating materials, processes, and design feasibility.
• Assist Product Development Engineering in building prototype devices.
• Document product history and other information required for design and production.
• Assist in solving problems incurred with devices in production.
• Assist marketing in preparing technical data for customers, reviewing customer drawings, and addressing quality issues.
• Ensure that product specifications and processes are designed to reduce manufacturing costs without compromising quality or safety.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 1-2 years experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, SQL) and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
