POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various public health initiatives, projects, and services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSBachelor Degree in public health, public policy, public administration, or related field required.
REQUIRED SKILLS- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external clients.
- Documented attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to work well with individuals of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and intellectual backgrounds.
- Experience in administration and management grants or grant‑funded programs, including reporting, budget management, and workplan development.
- Experience or prior involvement in the development, improvement, or evaluation of health programs/services in community settings.
- Experience working in non‑profit or government settings.
- Bi‑lingual fluency in Spanish, French, or Somali a plus.
This position does not have any direct reports.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMay require sitting for a long period of time. Some bending, lifting, stooping and stretching required. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. Requires eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment such as computer keyboard, photocopier, telephone and calculator. Some lifting may be involved, up to 35 pounds.
