Travel Speech Language Pathologist

Job Overview

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment located in Columbus, Nebraska.

Contract:

13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days.

• Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy services to pediatric patients and older adults.
• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Communicate patient progress and problems to supervisors and team members.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post charges to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.

• Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
• At least 2 years of SLP experience.
• Independent decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
