The role is to produce quality Posiflush syringes at the rate or goal set for each line while working as a team with other operators, keeping the area and machines clean, performing quality checks at the required frequency, and ensuring compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations.

Regular, punctual attendance is essential, as is the ability to read, write, and converse in English and uphold BD Values.

• Assignments may be in ISM/Sterilizer/Inspection, Plunger Rod/Flow Wrappers, Multi Vac/Case Pak
• Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance.
• Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity.
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Assist line technicians or setter/operators with equipment repair or troubleshooting.
• Keep machinery, work area, and floors neat and orderly and comply with GMP requirements.
• Perform quality inspections, process tests, and record data accurately as required.
• Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels.
• Work as a team member to develop optimal task methods.
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• In lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years of manufacturing experience is required.

• Ability to keep and maintain detailed documentation/communication—Proficient.
• Teamwork—Proficient.
• Organization skills—Basic.
