About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our manufacturing operations team in Columbus, Nebraska. This is a high-priority hire with relocation available for the right candidate.
This role supports production equipment in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment and requires strong troubleshooting ability across hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
We are targeting candidates ideally from the Midwest (Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, etc.) to ensure cultural alignment, though all qualified applicants will be considered.
Schedule & Compensation- Shift B: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Schedule: 2 days on / 2 days off
- 3 days on / 3 days off
- Work every other weekend
- 13.5% shift differential added to base pay
- Base Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 annually
- (Equivalent to approximately $33–$36/hour, based on experience and education)
- Shift differential paid on top of base compensation
Experience Level: 2–5 years
Seniority Level: Entry-Level (non-management)
Education:
- Associate’s Degree in a technical field preferred
- OR minimum 2 years of technical experience in lieu of degree
- High School Diploma or GED required
Travel: Occasional
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs)
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Support engineering projects including new equipment installation and IQ validation
- Conduct continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability and reduce waste
- Test electronic circuits using oscilloscopes, signal generators, amp meters, and voltmeters
- Install and modify control panel wiring
- Support PLC troubleshooting and maintain ladder logic programs
- Repair pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Train operators and assist with machine set-ups
- Support off-shift call-ins as needed
- Maintain compliance with cGMP standards for medical devices
- Adhere to company Quality Systems and all safety regulations

- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
This role requires on-site collaboration and a minimum of 4 days per week on-site presence to support manufacturing operations.
Must be able to read, write, and converse in English. Regular and punctual attendance is essential.
