Position Summary
Responsible for operating equipment in department safety and producing quality products per documentation. Perform quality checks, changeovers, SAP data entries, and troubleshooting. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English.

- Work as part of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, including product inspection, operating equipment, raw material and finished goods movements, and clean room area and equipment cleaning/sanitizing.
- Perform visual inspections.
- Perform troubleshooting of equipment.
- Perform changeovers, line clearance and cleaning.
- Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment.
- Facilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaks.
- Perform rework.
- Cross‑train where needed within the department to support the business.
- Maintain all quality and GMP standards.
- Perform needed SAP data entries.
- May require the use of a 10x microscope, calipers, and/or other miscellaneous gauges.
- Participate on blitz teams as assigned.
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
- High School diploma/GED preferred.
- In lieu of a High School diploma/GED, three years manufacturing experience is required.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous experience with MES preferred.
- Previous experience with precision measuring instruments preferred.
- Previous mechanical experience preferred.
- Work effectively on own or in a team atmosphere – Proficient.
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean and orderly work area – Proficient.
- Willingness and ability to train others – Proficient.
- Teamwork – Proficient.
- Organization skills, detail oriented – Basic.
