Hypo South Production Associate - B Shift

Position Summary

Responsible for operating equipment in the department safely and producing quality products in accordance with documentation. Performs quality checks, changeovers, SAP data entries, and basic troubleshooting. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations.

• Work with a team to achieve maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods.
• Perform product inspection, operate equipment, manage raw material and finished goods movements, and clean room area and equipment cleaning/sanitizing.
• Perform visual inspections.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform changeovers, line clearance and cleaning.
• Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment.
• Facilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaks.
• Perform rework.
• Cross‑train within the department to support the business.
• Maintain all quality and GMP standards.
• Perform needed SAP data entries.
• May require the use of a 10× microscope, calipers, and/or other miscellaneous gauges.
• Participate on blitz teams as assigned.
• Ensure the quality of all product produced and perform designated quality checks.
• Process SAP and MES transactions for the department.
• Assist in the BDA process to identify root causes.
• Maintain compliance with all required document training.
• Operate lines safely and efficiently to drive department results by reducing downtime.

High School diploma or GED preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required, or alternatively, at least two years of manufacturing experience.

Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Experience with MES and precision measuring instruments preferred.
