*** Previous experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a production facility## Summary This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yield standards while ensuring the safest work environment possible. The role requires a strong understanding and control of the production process, accurate recordkeeping, and overall line maintenance and staffing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing daily production orders to ensure customer fulfillment
* Ensuring all positions are staffed prior to production start-up
* Overseeing Team Member morning exercises and job rotations to support ergonomics
* Monitoring machinery performance to ensure operational efficiency
* Verifying all workstations have passed USDA inspection
* Promoting workplace safety daily and through monthly safety meetings
* Ensuring accurate shipments, proper inventory rotation, and correct product coding
* Communicating company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members
* Supporting Team Member engagement, training, retention, and counseling
* Collaborating with other supervisors to resolve operational issues
* Maintaining records of reworked or returned products
* Reinforcing continuous quality education and standards
* Performing additional duties as needed## Requirements### Education
* High school diploma required
* Additional education, vocational training, or college coursework preferred### Computer Skills
* Basic computer skills preferred### Communication Skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills required### Supervisory Responsibilities
* Responsible for supervising a team performing related production tasks and activities### Travel
* 1–5 trips per year### Schedule
* Monday–Friday
* 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
