Overtime is available as needed.

** Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE.  We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

* Job Summary:

** Assists Supervisor in organizing and directing workflow through the Reeling/Box Pack Department in a timely and efficient manner. Trained on all packaging methods (Skin Pack, Box Pack & Universal Reelers), Pre-Ship Inspection and various other operations as needed.
** What you will be doing:
*** Verify label and ticket information are correct on all reeled/box packed orders before sending to FGS warehouse.
* Provide necessary packaging materials.
* Organize daily workflow throughout the reeling/box pack area to maximize efficiency of the area and ensure on-time delivery.
* Fills in at various Packaging methods as needed.
* Learn computer program for Pre-ship, barcoding and labeling.
* Learn basic skills on Paradox program.
* Assumes the ability to operate machinery and equipment and read and interpret specifications.

*** High School Diploma or equivalent
* Keen eye for detail.
* Be able to measure using ruler and/or calipers.
